How much should I budget for my DJ?
You will hear from most vendors that you shouldn't skimp on their services, but this couldn't be more true in the case of entertainment. Over 80% of your event's success depends on the entertainment you choose, so it is important to choose a full-time, professional DJ. Rates for professional DJ entertainment range from around $700 to $3500, with the average being around $1,200. You are welcome to use our availability checker to determine whether we have your date available. However, we can only hold a date with a contract or retainer. A retainer as low as $100 can hold your date as we work with you to determine the right package. The most important step in the booking process is to lock in your date with a retainer to ensure that no one else books your date.
Do you use contracts, and are you insured?
To protect both our clients and our business, we always use contracts - however, we are always willing to work with you in the event that something comes up. We are also fully insured and a member of the American Disk Jockey Association.
Will you be on time for my event?
Yes. In fact, we will be early. We make all the arrangements for our arrival with your reception hall or event location, and we arrive approximately two hours early to set up. Our equipment and microphones are then test, tuned and equalized to the room to ensure that your guest hear only perfection.
What type of equipment do you use?
As a full-time professional DJ, we use only the most reliable and state-of-the-art equipment. Although our talent, expertise and musical abilities come first, our sound and lighting systems are the tools we use to perform. What kind of music do you have? Do you have a list?
Forever Productions has the best music available! We have over 25,000 songs in various media formats. We subscribe to three of the industry's best music programming services that update our library on a weekly basis (the same companies that service top radio stations across the U.S). Our music is updated frequently, so in most cases we will already have your requested songs. We also have all of your favorite party classics and tunes from every era, including Big Band, Motown, Disco, New Wave 80's, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Top 40 R&B, Urban, Hip Hop, Dance, Club Music, Tehcno, Old School, Funk, Beach and even more. How many songs should I choose?
Plan on 15-20 songs per party hour.
Absolutely. If you have a particular DJ you have heard good things about or seen perform, it is in our best interest to have him perform for your event. We endeavor to grant these request whenever possible, however due to the nature of our business, specific DJs are sometimes unavailable. In that case please allow us to match you with a perfect DJ for your needs.
